Pure water window cleaning
The term ‘pure water’ in window cleaning describes ordinary tap water which has been filtered through a purification system in order to remove all the natural minerals. This water may also be described as ‘deionised water’ because of the type of filtration which is used. This is because it dries to leave a crystal-clear finish, as opposed to general tap water which dries to leave minerals on the windows. This is why hard water leaves stains and white spotting.
How does the process work?
The process to cleaning with pure water is different to cleaning with general tap water. Firstly, the dirt or build up on the window, frame and surrounding plastics is agitated. After that, pure water is used to rinse loosened dirt and debris.
The deionised water works by attracting the dirt and minerals scrubbed from the window.
Why is pure water cleaning better?
Pure water cleaning is better than cleaning with general tap water because it is environmentally friendly and is an effective form of cleaning without chemicals or soaps.
It also has the added benefit of offering privacy to the customer, as it can be carried out at height from the ground, meaning that nobody can look through upstairs windows.
