How do you clean outside windows?

The top priority for anyone who wants to clean their windows is usually to ensure that they are streak and smudge free, which is surprisingly difficult to do unless you have the right information and equipment. At Prudential Window Cleaning, we have accumulated years of knowledge and experience from being in the business for a long time. So, how exactly do you clean outside windows effectively?

Pure water is the ideal liquid to use to clean your windows as it will ensure that they are streak free because any minerals have been removed from the water beforehand. If you do not have access to pure water, then ideally you would use a vinegar-based glass cleaner. You can easily make this at home by mixing white vinegar, dish soap, and water. After that, you should grab a squeegee, and you will be set to clean your windows.

You may require a ladder to reach your property’s windows, and we recommend using a stepladder to easily access them. The best way to begin with cleaning your windows is by spraying the window with your liquid a couple of times at the top, taking care not to apply too much. You should move from the top to the bottom of the window, with the squeegee blade angled toward the bottom. If you want to avoid noticeable streaks, you should wipe in horizontal and vertical motions, rather than in circles.

If you need to reach windows that are higher than ground level and do not feel confident on a ladder, then we recommend getting in touch with a professional, such as here at Prudential Window Cleaning. We would be more than happy to help.
